In this role, you will be the frontline hero for resolving technical issues, maintaining computer systems, and ensuring seamless IT operations across the organization. Your proactive approach and excellent customer service skills will help keep our digital environment running smoothly, empowering users to perform at their best every day. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical expertise while making a tangible impact on our company's productivity. Duties Provide comprehensive technical support for desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices across various operating systems including Windows and macOS. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for end-users. Manage computer configurations, installations, updates, and upgrades to optimize performance and security. Assist with network connectivity problems related to LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and other IT infrastructure components. Utilize help desk management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy to document incidents, track resolutions, and escalate issues as needed. Support user account management within Active Directory and other identity management systems. Collaborate with network teams to resolve connectivity issues involving switches, routers, and wireless access points. Skills Proven experience in providing IT support with a focus on desktop support and hardware troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows and macOS; familiarity with Linux is a plus. Proficiency in computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewall management, and network troubleshooting. Skilled in managing computer hardware components and peripheral devices effectively. Experience with software applications like Microsoft Office Suite and common enterprise tools such as Help Desk platforms (ServiceNow, Jira). Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards.
