Job Description

Northwest Radiologists, Inc., the leading provider of digital medical imaging services in Whatcom County, is seeking a healthcare-focused Helpdesk Analyst to join our IT team. Qualified candidates will have experience supporting medical imaging or EHR workflows and an understanding of how systems such as RIS and PACS function in a clinical environment. This role functions as a Tier 1-2 Helpdesk Analyst supporting both clinical and administrative users and offers growth through cross-training and initiative. Within the first 6-12 months, successful candidates will be able to independently support core clinical applications while appropriately escalating complex or high-impact issues. Job Description Handle incoming helpdesk calls; triage, resolve, or escalate issues as appropriate Create, document, and assign tickets within the helpdesk portal Maintain PHI and ensure data integrity across MBI/NWR business systems Create, maintain, and deactivate user accounts across MBI/NWR systems Develop and maintain documentation and training materials in the staff wiki Identify and assist in troubleshooting clinical workflow issues in RIS and PACS Participate in IT systems projects with internal team members and external partners Required Competencies Ability to learn and support radiology business workflows, including RIS and PACS Friendly, professional telephone support utilizing remote control tools Basic understanding of helpdesk ticket management systems and workflows Technical proficiency with Windows operating systems and Intel-based computer hardware Willingness to learn IT concepts through collaboration and self-study and grow in the area of Desktop computer system support. Self-starter capable of managing daily tasks and assigned projects independently Team-oriented, open to change, and receptive to feedback Adaptable in an environment with multiple applications from multiple vendors Excellent communication skills needed to communicate with all levels of the organization Ability to multi-task and prioritize when emergent issues arise Preferred Qualifications Post-high school education or certification with an Information Technology focus Experience working in a medical or medical imaging environment Knowledge of medical systems including RIS and PACS (e.g., Medinformatix, Fuji Synapse) Familiarity with HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare IT security requirements
Pay:
$24.00 - $32.00
