Job Description

Job Title:
System Administrator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated System Administrator to join our team in a full-time, on-site role. You will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a temporary position with the potential to become a permanent role. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic construction firm, benefiting from a super cool office environment that includes a large lunch room and free parking. Responsibilities Install hardware and components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives. Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues. Perform computer upgrades, including hard drives and RAM. Image systems and load appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components, and office applications. Set up user accounts in Active Directory and Office 365. Configure cell phones and desk phones. License software packages to ensure compliance, track assets, and monitor inventory. Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet user requirements. Provide one-on-one computer and telephone support to employees in-house and at job sites. Connect users to networks and provide initial training in applications. Communicate project status, updates, and completion information to managers and users. Track support requests using help desk ticketing software. Create technical and end-user documentation. Essential Skills Technical knowledge of desktop hardware and operating systems. Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity. Strong customer service orientation. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to new changes in software, procedures, and policies. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in customer service and administrative support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with software troubleshooting and network analysis. Knowledge of asset tracking and desktop hardware. Work Environment You will be part of a team of six in a vibrant construction firm. Enjoy a super cool work office with a large lunch room and free parking. Provide first-level support for computer users, ensuring information is current and delivering installation, troubleshooting, and training services as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynnwood, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
