IT Support Engineer

Role Summary This role provides VIP and executive-level IT support for senior executives and their teams, with a focus on specialized engineering workflow support and lab systems management. The position involves maintaining secure and compliant lab environments, supporting infrastructure and hardware, and ensuring seamless system operations to support high-performance workflows. The successful candidate will coordinate with lab operations, support clean room environments, and manage a range of enterprise hardware and systems to facilitate efficient engineering and design activities. Responsibilities Provide VIP and executive IT support, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues for senior leadership and their staff. Support clean room environments by coordinating gowning, access, and safety procedures in collaboration with lab operations and EHS teams. Stage, label, and deploy hardware in accordance with contamination-control protocols, including wipe-down and approved packaging. Deliver break/fix support for clean room PCs, kiosks, badge readers, and other lab-adjacent endpoints while maintaining cleanliness standards. Maintain network connectivity and perform hardware inventory management in controlled lab environments, including spare parts and swap procedures. Document all change-control activities and update access logs for work performed within controlled environments. Coordinate vendor and visitor IT needs, including temporary accounts, device setup, and escort procedures during lab visits. Set up, configure, and maintain servers supporting engineering workflows, including system health checks, backups, and performance optimization. Manage Surface Hub hardware and peripherals, including setup, firmware testing, troubleshooting, and inventory management. Administer user accounts, device provisioning, permissions, and security policies for shared devices and workflows. Qualifications Proven experience supporting VIP or executive IT needs, with a focus on high-priority environments. Familiarity with render farm workflows, enterprise PLM systems, and GPU-intensive workloads. Hands-on experience with device provisioning, certificate-based authentication, and endpoint management tools such as Intune, MDE, or EPM. Prior experience working in controlled lab environments with EHS compliance; clean room experience is a plus. Knowledge of network setup, cabling, and connectivity support in highly controlled environments. Ability to configure and maintain servers, perform backups, and troubleshoot performance issues. Strong hardware support skills, particularly with collaboration tools like Surface Hubs and peripheral devices. Excellent documentation and change management skills in compliance with security and regulatory standards. Effective communication skills to coordinate with vendors, visitors, and internal teams. Availability to work on-site in a dedicated office environment.

Publishing Pay Range:

$34.01 - $36.22 Hourly This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
