Job Description

MoP/Documentation Engineer - Must be Local to Redmond,WA Introduction The MoP/Documentation Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of documentation related to IP networking, telecom domain, Linux scripting, MOP, and other documents. This role will involve creating, updating, and maintaining documentation to support various projects and operations within the organization. Responsibilities Create and update documentation for IP networking, including network configurations, diagrams, and troubleshooting guides. Develop and maintain documentation for telecom domain projects, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation. Assist in the deployment, configuration, and usage of AWS services, documenting processes and best practices. Manage Change Management and follow the MoP (Method of Procedure) for network changes and maintenance activities. Review and revise existing documentation to ensure relevance and accuracy. Train team members on documentation standards and best practices. Participate in project meetings and provide documentation support as needed. Requirements Required Skills Strong understanding of IP networking principles and protocols. Experience in the telecom domain and familiarity with telecom technologies. Proficiency in Linux scripting for automation and configuration management. Ability to create clear and concise documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge of MoP (Method of Procedure) and experience in documenting network changes. Preferred Skills Certifications in networking or cloud computing (e.g., CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl. Familiarity with version control systems like Git for managing documentation revisions. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
