IT Field Support Technician (Part-Time)
Location:
Spokane, WA (On-Site)
Hourly Compensation:
$33.65/hr
DOE Hours:

Overview As the IT Field Support Technician you are responsible for consulting with business leaders within their assigned operating division to plan, design, install, configure and maintain technology solutions that support the local business needs. Serves as the sole local "go to" person for all technology needs and is available to key business leaders and users on a 24 hour/day 7 day/week basis to support mission critical systems. Independently uses system analytical techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine all aspects of system functional specifications. Summary /
Responsibilities:
Provides tier-two support for deployed technology in their area. Monitors and optimizes system performance, ensuring data integrity. Develops and maintains an OS hardware/software configuration database. Administers system security, including access, virus, and patch management. Implements software upgrades and enhancements, including firmware revisions. Responds to technical assistance requests, including on-call for emergencies. Coordinates end user training and collaborates with GMR IT and field staff. Installs/configures desktops, laptops, printers, phones at corporate and remote centers. Troubleshoots and resolves desktop/laptop issues and application software problems. Manages documentation, asset inventories, and cabling connections. Coordinates vendor support, maintenance, repairs, and participates in key committees. Conducts routine audits to ensure compliance with IT standards and policies.
Qualifications:
Education & Industry Experience MS Windows system administration experience preferred 4 Year Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience required CSE, MPC, and A+ Certification preferred Customer service skills required The application window for this position is anticipated to close on May 31, 2026.
