Job Description
Our client uses advanced manufacturing technology and it's a very clean facility! They have a strong and interactive work culture. You also would get 17 days of PTO (paid time off) to start with! This is a 1st shift direct hire position. Service Support Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a Service Support Engineer to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for industrial machinery and equipment. This role serves as a key resource for customers, Field Service Engineers, and internal teams by delivering phone-based and virtual technical support related to mechanical and electrical systems. Candidates with software troubleshooting exposure are welcomed, though software expertise is not required. Key Responsibilities Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting assistance for industrial equipment and machinery Support customers and Field Service Engineers with diagnostics, repairs, and issue resolution in real-time Analyze and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation Assist with identifying replacement parts and recommending corrective actions Document service activities, resolutions, and technical findings within internal systems Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical support resources and knowledge databases Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective customer support Deliver a high level of customer service while managing multiple technical inquiries and priorities Qualifications & Background We are open to candidates with a variety of technical backgrounds, including: Experienced Field Service Engineers, maintenance technicians, or repair professionals with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Hands-on technical professionals looking to transition from field-based service work into a more office-based support role Recent graduates from mechanical, electrical, or related technical programs who demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and internal teams Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment Preferred Skills Experience supporting industrial machinery, automation equipment, or manufacturing systems Knowledgeable on mechanical and electrical prints Familiarity with technical service documentation and troubleshooting processes
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hourBenefits:
