The role focuses on ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant platform operations through effective administration of Immuta and AWS services. The SME acts as the technical escalation point for complex incidents and platform-related challenges. The position requires deep expertise in cloud platforms, data governance, operational excellence, and platform optimization. The individual will also drive best practices, automation, and continuous improvement across the support landscape. Key Responsibilities Lead administration, support, and optimization of Immuta and AWS platform environments. Act as the highest technical escalation point for critical incidents, root cause analysis, and problem management. Design and implement operational standards, monitoring frameworks, and platform governance controls. Manage platform upgrades, integrations, security reviews, capacity planning, and performance tuning activities. Drive automation initiatives to improve platform reliability, operational efficiency, and support effectiveness. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with architecture, security, and infrastructure teams on strategic initiatives.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in Platform Support, Cloud Operations, Data Governance, or Infrastructure Management. Strong expertise in AWS services such as IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, Athena, Lake Formation, and Glue. Advanced knowledge of Immuta platform administration, policy management, governance controls, and access management. Experience with SQL, Python/Shell scripting, automation tools, and enterprise monitoring solutions. Strong exposure to ITIL processes, SLA management, production support, and operational governance. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
