AVNIK has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Engineer or Data Analyst to perform sustainment engineering analysis using USG Modeling & Simulation ( M&S ) tools - supporting the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM). The candidate will be performing as part of a data analytic team providing engineering support in logistics, sustainment, and procurement analysis . Responsibilities :
Interface with customers to define M&S requirements Develop software pipelines to manage M&S environment Provide charts, graphs, data analysis and technical/engineering results to leadership and customers Interpret M&S results for customer briefing development Prepare and present briefings on analysis, current tasks, schedules, and goals Provide technical analysis on Army platform logistics and sustainment key performance metrics Provide input to team on discussion of technical issues, tasks, briefings, goals, potential funding, etc. Resolve technical M&S issues through debugging, research, and investigation Manage workload across multiple projects/tasks and meet delivery schedules Ability to work independently with self motivation Professional communication skills demonstrated on a daily basis Document work processes and procedures
Education & Citizenship Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, etc.), Applied Mathematics , Computer Science , Data Science, or related technical field is required and 2 years of experience. MS degree is equal to 2 yrs of experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education. Advanced degree is a plus. Candidate must be a

Develop visualizations, technical reports, and executive-level briefings that clearly communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Present modeling methodologies, assumptions, limitations, and results to customers, program leadership, engineering teams, and other stakeholders. Conduct sensitivity, scenario, and trade-space analyses to determine the variables and constraints having greatest impact to system performance.
