BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
) Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship 4+ years experience and knowledge in developing, proposing, managing, implementing testing products and system solutions in power systems or related including: Naval power or power conversion systems Military production products with complex electro-mechanical assemblies Production product lifecycle management 4+ years experience in temperature, humidity, shock and vibration testing and certification 1+ year experience leadership and direct participation in technical proposal development, cost estimation and manpower planning Previous DOD engineering development experience Requirements analysis and definition experience EVM/CAM experience 2+ years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools 2+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Key interface between the Engineering team and Program Management departments Ensures all technical performance, cost and schedule goals on the program are met Acting as an advisor to senior management and customers on advanced technical studies and/or applications Identifying and managing program technical risks Establishing schedule, resource, budget, and tool requirements for tasks Ensuring engineering processes are followed on projects
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Accredited Bachelors Degree (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or Mathematics, Computer Science) and minimum 6 years of relevant prior experience, inclusive of 1 year of leadership experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, Or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
WORK HOURS
Full-Time 9/80 work schedule 1st Shift
