Northrop Grumman is seeking Systems Engineers for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Azusa, California. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Western Region Systems Engineering directorate. The selected candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:- Perform analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
The candidate must:
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027.
- Be majoring in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.
Intern Pay Range:
- Bachelor's. $26.75 to $32.50 per hour
- Master's.
