CMCC Position Overview:
The System User Expert (SUE) serves as a key member of the CMCC System Facilitator (CSF) Team, providing direct support to operators and mission users across all CMCC environments. The SUE acts as the program's frontline expert on system behavior, workflows, capabilities, and operational use, ensuring that users are trained, supported, and able to effectively employ CMCC capabilities in exercises, test events, and operational scenarios. The SUE provides user‑focused insights to the engineering, architecture, integration, and Help Desk teams, enabling rapid resolution of issues and continuous improvement of system performance. This role is essential for ensuring that CMCC capabilities deliver real operational value and remain aligned with warfighter needs.
Responsibilities:
System User (SUE) activities related to Information Technology including: 1. Serve as the on‑call frontline operator support resource, providing direct assistance to CMCC users and ensuring rapid issue triage and resolution. 2. Deliver user training, orientation, and onboarding, ensuring operators understand new capabilities, workflows, interfaces, and mission thread execution. 3. Support test, DT/OT, operations, and exercise events by assisting users, capturing usage insights, and validating capability utility in mission contexts. 4. Provide real‑time feedback to engineering, architecture, and integration teams regarding system usability, workflow challenges, data needs, and operator impacts. 5. Collaborate with the Warfighter Liaison Team (WLT) to represent user perspectives throughout capability development and SIP activities. 6. Work with the Help Desk to document, replicate, and clarify user‑reported issues; ensure users receive timely and effective support. 7. Maintain a working knowledge of system capabilities, interfaces, mission threads, and CONOPS to support users and inform program decisions. 8. Assist Capability Providers with operator‑focused testing, validation of workflows, and evaluation of usability impacts. 9. Support CMCC environment transitions by validating user‑facing functionality during I&T, Experimental, and Operational deployments. 10. Participate in Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives) to provide user context and operational intent to the engineering teams. 11. Contribute to SIP improvements, Help Desk enhancements, training materials, and user‑facing documentation.

Technical Requirements:
1. Prior experience supporting military operators, mission systems, or C2/C3BM operational workflows. 2. Strong understanding of system operations, user workflows, mission threads, and operator‑facing interfaces. 3. Ability to clearly communicate system behavior, troubleshooting steps, and mission impacts to both users and engineering teams. 4. Experience training operators, developing user‑focused material, or supporting mission exercises/test events. 5. Ability to translate operator feedback into actionable insights for engineering, architecture, and test teams. 6. Familiarity with Help Desk workflows, issue triage, and user support processes. 7. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer‑facing skills. 8. Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
1. Experience with CMCC or related programs (CBC2, AOC, JFN, DI, ABMS). 2. Prior operational experience in USAF or joint C2 environments. 3. Familiarity with Agile development, Jira/Confluence, CM processes, or SIP governance. 4. Experience supporting multi‑classification or cross‑domain mission systems. 5. Understanding of UCI messages, data flows, or operator‑facing service interactions.
Typical Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience supporting operational systems, command and control environments, or mission operations; OR Master's and 6+ years; OR 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
