The Data Solutions & Platforms Engineering team is part of Enterprise Technology & Data. We are responsible for developing enterprise solutions and managing a diverse portfolio of products and tools related to Data, Analytics, AI and Automation used by business teams across The Walt Disney Company.What You'll Do:
Lead engineer responsible for managing operations of our Finance data platforms (includingSAP BW, SAP
HANA, Snowflake) Act as the technology subject matter expert, partnering with technology stakeholders and clients to both address issues and recommend/implement enhancements Investigate and resolve production related issues and driver areas of focus for continuous improvement initiatives Oversee offshore teams responsible for managing incidents, issues and service requests; ensure service level and quality targets are met Design and implement technology solutions in partnership with Solution Architects, Product & Engineering Managers Coordinate development and on-going maintenance of Disaster Recovery plansRequired Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 7 years of related work experience, to include: Technical expertise in SAP HANA and SAP BW SQL, Python, Javascript Other technical experience (nice to have): ETL, InformaticaIDMC, BI
tools (Tableau, Power BI, SAP Business Objects) 5+ years of experience developing and managing enterprise data systems and tools Understanding of Finance business domain Good communications skillsRequired Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience #DISNEYTECH
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $134,000- $173,400 per year and in Orlando, FL is $123,100
- $165,100 and in Seattle, WA is $140,300
- $181,600.
