Job Description
Oracle EPM Architect (Burbank, CA, 91506) | 08/31/26 Job Description candidate is expected to work from Burbank, CA (location) We are looking for an experienced Oracle EPM Architect to provide strategic architecture leadership, design oversight, and technical guidance across our EPM transformation initiatives. This role will partner closely with Customer business and technology teams to ensure scalable, sustainable, and business-aligned solutions. This role will provide experienced architectural leadership that helps Customer make informed decisions, accelerate delivery, reduce risk, and implement a scalable EPM platform that supports both current business requirements and future growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Solution Architecture & Design Leadership
- Review and guide overall EPM solution architecture across Planning, EDM, integrations, reporting, and future-state capabilities.
- Actively participate in design discussions, providing recommendations and challenge where appropriate to ensure adherence to architectural best practices.
- Advise on Enterprise Data Management (EDM) design, hierarchy governance, metadata management, and master data strategy.
- Review and optimize dimension, cube, and application design for performance, scalability, maintainability, and future growth.
- Provide guidance on integration architecture, including upstream/downstream system impacts, data flows, orchestration, and automation.
- Help navigate Customer-specific business complexities, data structures, and cross-functional dependencies.
2. Future-State Roadmap & Conceptual Architecture - Review and validate the EPM strategic roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives and broader enterprise architecture principles.
- Develop and refine conceptual and target-state architecture models.
- Identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and optimization across the EPM ecosystem.
- Assess architectural implications of future business requirements and emerging Oracle capabilities.
- Provide recommendations on sequencing initiatives and technical debt reduction.
3. Governance, Release Management & Operational Excellence - Establish and advise on architecture governance processes, design reviews, and decision frameworks.
- Provide release management guidance, including deployment strategies, environment management, migration planning, and change control practices.
- Review impacts of quarterly Oracle updates and recommend adoption strategies for new functionality.
- Support risk identification and mitigation planning related to architecture, performance, integrations, and data management.
- Advise on operational support models, issue management, and sustainability planning.
