Job Description

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to provide system engineering, design, administration, and software/system test and evaluation for U.S. Marine Corps Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our C4I systems, including the Common Hosting Environment (CHE). You will be responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual environments used to test and evaluate Marine Corps C4I tactical data systems.
Job Tasks:
Set up and configure physical and virtual networks and C4I systems for test and evaluation of hardware and software systems. Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs, OUs) and DNS services. Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server, to support testing. Collaborate in the creation of test plans and scripts. Configure test environments and execute software and hardware tests. Perform data analysis and troubleshooting of software and hardware defects. Collaborate with system developers and integrators on fixes. Participate in the assessments of alternative technologies to solve USMC mission requirements. Contribute to the creation of comprehensive test reports. Military veterans and service members transitioning out of the military are encouraged to apply
Required Qualifications:
Active SECRET Security Clearance Three (3) years Command and Control systems/software experience Linux system administration experience, particularly with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Experience with Podman or containerization technologies Experience creating Virtual Environments with ESXi and vCenter Ansible knowledge for automating and configuration management Experience installing and configuring OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environments
Preferred Qualifications:
RHCSA certification Active CompTIA Security+ Active CompTIA Network+
Interview:
Candidates will undergo a virtual interview with the hiring manager, followed by a virtual technical interview by the project team lead.

$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
