Develop low-level embedded software, board support packages (BSP), and drivers using FreeRTOS, LwIP, or Bare-metal C/C++ environments.
Configure Gigabit Ethernet communications (1000BaseX) to enable rapid data throughput between payload processors, command modules, and sub-systems.
Perform on-site hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) integration, testing, and debugging using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers in a lab environment.
Validate real-time protocol handling, packet processing, and memory management between the custom FPGA fabric and embedded processor cores.
Diagnose and resolve low-level firmware bottlenecks, timing violations, and network communication errors.
Collaborate with hardware, systems, and software engineering teams to align data transport requirements with space mission constraints.
Write technical documentation, interface control documents (ICDs), and test plans for system verification.
