We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Systems Engineer to assist in the development and deployment of Manufacturing Execution Software (MES) for manufactured components, specifically involving ceramic matrix materials. You will help create innovative software solutions, ensuring integration across multiple platforms to optimize production processes.Manufacturing Engineer Key Duties:
- Develop and implement Manufacturing Execution Software (MES) to support the manufacturing of aerospace parts.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and stakeholders to identify software solutions that enhance production efficiency.
- Utilize Python, SQL, and VBA to build, optimize, and troubleshoot MES applications.
- Ensure seamless integration between different MES platforms (Eyelit, Siemens Simatic IT) to accommodate both development and production demands.
- Design and develop asset management applications to enhance operational workflows.
- Conduct thorough testing of software solutions to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate software changes and resolve challenges.
- Explore and experiment with fresh solutions to improve the MES framework and support future business needs.
- Provide detailed documentation and user support for software applications.
Core Qualifications:
- Proficient in: Python, SQL, VBA programming.
- Work history supporting manufacturing, engineering, or related field (at least 2 years).
- Strong critical thinking skills, with a focus on integrating multiple software platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and implement effective solutions.
- An initiative-taking approach to exploring modern technologies and refining software solutions.
- BS degree in STEM field or equivalent work history.
- Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship required.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Eyelit and Siemens Simatic IT Manufacturing Execution Software (MES) software.
- Familiarity with PowerApps, Microsoft Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Ability to create complex functions that align with database management requirements.
