Job Requirements El Segundo, CA Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified $170,000 - $195,000 Job Description Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Ground Systems Engineer to support a company focused on advanced defense communications, command & control systems, and mission operations. This position is on-site in El Segundo, CA, operating on a 9/80 work schedule . The Senior Ground Systems Engineer will lead integration, verification, and testing efforts for complex ground system environments that support mission-critical operations. Responsibilities for the Senior Ground Systems Engineer include: Lead ground system integration, verification, and test activities within complex command & control (C2) environments Review system requirements, interfaces, and architectures to ensure successful software and system integration Develop and execute integration strategies for new software builds and operational deployments Troubleshoot integration issues across subsystems and support system-level test and verification events Coordinate with software engineering teams, systems engineers, requirements engineers, and IPT leads to support technical milestones and program deliverables Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and drive integration efforts from planning through execution Required Qualifications for the Senior Ground Systems Engineer include: 10+ years of experience supporting ground systems, systems integration, verification & test (V&V), or systems engineering programs Experience with ground systems, command & control (C2) systems, mission operations environments, and software integration into operational systems Experience supporting MILSATCOM, SATCOM, Space Force programs, ground stations, mission operations, or satellite command & control environments Strong background in Ground System Verification, Integration & Test (VI&T) Proficiency with Cameo and DOORS Demonstrated ability to lead technical efforts, guide junior engineers, and own integration activities Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline Minimum Active Secret Security Clearance required Compensation for the Senior Ground Systems Engineer include:
Salary Range:
$170,000 - $195,000 depending on experience
