Comfortable with weekly on-call rotationPreferred QualificationsPassionate about Continuous Build, Integration, Test, and Delivery systemsAble to quickly learn new and existing technologiesStrong attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilitiesA desire to write tools and applications to automate work rather than do everything by handSelf-motivated, pro-active and solution-oriented individualMinimum QualificationsHands-on experience in engineering, Cloud, or as a software engineering staff memberStrong programming and scripting fundamentals, Python and BashModern web services architectures, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCPSource control management such as Git, SVNLinux fundamentals, experience with hardening operating system imagesHands-on experience with Log mining frameworks like Splunk, Elastic, Prometheus, Loki etcContainer services(Docker/Kubernetes), UNIX system administrationGrafana or similar for investigating or monitoring problems on systemsRelease and management of NoSQL, Zookeeper, Spark, MesosIn-depth knowledge of build/release systems and processBS Computer Science or equivalent experiencePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
