Job Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIREDSKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):- Active Secret Clearance required must be able to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
- Experience with nuclear hardened aircraft designs and/or methodologies.
- Experience leading teams that perform analysis, evaluation, and validation of components, equipment, subsystems, or weapon-system models to ensure compliance with operationally relevant nuclear threat environments.
- 5+ years of recent experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), 3DEXPERIENCE (Cameo) and HEMP Modeling & Simulation.
- 5+ years of recent experience with applicable FAA Airworthiness (AW) compliance standards in conjunction with relevant military specifications and guidelines.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Accredited Bachelor of science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.
