Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Senior System Engineer to join our End-to-End Solution Integration Chapter supporting Next-Generation Diagnostic Solutions. In this hands-on role, you will support feasibility, development, and integration of complex multidisciplinary systems spanning sample preparation, library preparation, molecular detection technologies (e.g., qPCR, digital PCR, sequencing), and bioinformatics/data processing pipelines. You will collaborate with assay, software, hardware, and bioinformatics teams to define, integrate, and optimize system-level performance, ensuring technical robustness and operational scalability across diverse technologies. This role is ideal for a systems-minded engineer with direct industry experience in diagnostic workflows, strong system troubleshooting skills, and a solid engineering background. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct system integration activities across end-to-end workflows, instruments, software, and data pipelines for next-generation diagnostic solutions.
- Contribute to requirements definition, defect management and system testing.
- Design and execute verification and validation test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements.
- Analyze test results for accuracy, validity, and relevance to requirements.
- Report issues, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis.
- Contribute to system documentation, including requirements, specifications, integration plans, and verification results.
- Identify and lead opportunities for workflow simplification, automation, and continuous improvement. Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
- MIN years of exp: 5+ years of related industry experience.
- Proven instrument and software troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with cloud-based systems is desirable.
- Experience developing in-vitro diagnostic products is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Scripting/programming experience (eg, Python, Java) is a plus. Work Location
