$94,717.13 - $140,067.94 per year A blimp, a radar, and a camera are all watching the same stretch of water. Right now they each tell their own story. Your job is to make them tell one. We are looking for a Systems Engineer to connect sensors like aerostats, radars, and cameras into the Navy's communications systems. All that information comes together in an operational picture, the single map that Navy watch teams use to see what is happening at sea. You help make that map complete and trustworthy. Who you would help You would support the office that builds and delivers these systems for allied partner countries. The goal is simple. Partner navies should be able to work side by side with US forces, and also handle things on their own. What you build gets used, not filed away. What you would do Systems engineering is a lot like solving a puzzle. You take pieces that were never made to fit together and you make them work as one. Day to day, that looks like: Connecting sensors, networks, and software so they talk to each other Working across the whole build: planning it, designing it, coding it, testing it, and keeping it running Turning what the customer needs into clear technical requirements Helping test the system, then fixing what testing turns up Working with Navy staff, program leads, and other companies on the team Good systems engineers keep one eye on the big picture and one on the details. You will think about cost and schedule too, not just the technology. What we are looking for At least 3 years of related systems engineering experience A good grasp of systems engineering basics: figuring out requirements, designing the approach, putting the pieces together, and proving it works Hands-on experience connecting different networks, software, and hardware Bachelor's degree (required) Active Secret clearance (required) that you can maintain. US citizenship is required. Nice to have, but not required GCCS-M or other command and control systems Work with radars, cameras, aerostats, or similar sensors
