This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA. Please be aware that this position is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining associated business and/or customer funding and obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance at the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future. As a Cloud Security Architect
  • Level 3/4, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery and accreditation of secure ground infrastructure, enabling cross-domain data flows (e.
g., between CUI and SECRET clouds) to meet mission needs and strict cyber requirements in a complex cloud and on-prem hybrid environment. This position can be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4. Basic Qualifications for Cloud Security Architect
  • Level 3: 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 3 years of relevant experience with Masters; 1 year of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree Active Secret clearance required at the time of application Experience implementing or managing infrastructure in at least one major cloud environment (AWS GovCloud, AWS SC2S, Azure Government, or equivalent) Experience with cybersecurity best practices and frameworks (e.
g., NIST RMF, DoD STIGs, security controls, vulnerability management) Experience supporting system security accreditation (e.g., ATO/IATT process), developing/maintaining POA&Ms, evidence, or SSPs Proficient in system/network automation or scripting tools (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, etc.) Basic Qualifications for Cloud Security Architect

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience architecting, deploying, or administering cross domain solutions (CDS, data diodes, guard tech, or secure gateways) Experience deploying and maintaining commercial CDS products in operational environments Experience integrating cross-domain or boundary solutions in multicloud or hybrid cloud/on-prem enterprise architectures Understanding of cross-domain data flow controls, information assurance principles, boundary defense, and secure enclave design Prior success navigating the cybersecurity accreditation process for government/military programs (including artifacts, testing, and audit support) Familiarity with secure cloud architectures (AWS GovCloud/SC2S/IAM, VPCs, peering, cross-account networking, infrastructure-as-code) Relevant certifications: Security+, CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect, CCSP, or equivalent
Primary Level Salary Range:
$114,000.00

Secondary Level Salary Range:
$142,200.00
  • $213,400.
00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
