Sunnyvale, CA or New York City (Onsite) Role Summary We are looking for a seasoned Elastic professional to take ownership of our onpremise Elasticsearch ecosystem. This role is central to ensuring stability, scalability, and security in a missioncritical environment. You will be the goto expert for cluster operations, performance optimization, and monitoring, while driving automation and reliability across the platform. What You ll Do Oversee Elastic clusters deployed on Kubernetes (ECK), handling upgrades, scaling, and lifecycle management. Lead Day2 operational activities: proactive monitoring, incident resolution, troubleshooting, and finetuning system performance. Design and implement disaster recovery, backup/restore, and highavailability strategies. Maintain clear operational documentation and runbooks for repeatable processes. Participate in oncall rotation (1 week per month, 24x7 coverage). MustHave Skills Deep expertise with the Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Fleet Server, Elastic Agent, ingestion pipelines). Proven background in production support and Day2 operations.

Handson with monitoring/alerting tools:

Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, VictoriaMetrics. Proficiency in automation via scripting (Python, Bash). NicetoHave Skills Exposure to SIEM/securitydriven environments. Experience with Kafka in largescale log ingestion pipelines. Ideal Candidate Profile Titles to target: SRE, Production Engineer, DevOps Engineer . Must demonstrate handson Kubernetes and Elasticsearch expertise. Strong monitoring/alerting background with Grafana. Thrives in fastpaced, collaborative, and accountable environments.
