M9 Solutions is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to work onsite in support of a government contract for a client located in Sunnyvale, CA. An active Secret clearance is required. Responsibilities Maintain the digital ecosystem across production and testing environments, ensuring all systems remain efficient, secure, and reliable. System Administration (Linux/UNIX, Windows, embedded hardware)

• deploy, configure, harden, troubleshoot, and support disaster recovery (NetBackup/Veeam). Storage Management
• install, secure, and monitor NetApp or other NAS/SAN solutions. Cyber Compliance
• apply STIGs, manage patches/upgrades, perform trusted downloads, and maintain RMF-based compliance. Change & Asset Management
• execute changes using change management tools and keep asset inventories up to date. Operational Support
• work onsite during day shift business hours; provide after hours support when critical operations demand it. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
• lead technical best practice discussions, mentor peers, and coordinate with functional teams to resolve issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications Active Secret security clearance. Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience. Current Security+ certification.
