Radar Systems Engineer

Radar System Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Strong background in weather radar and weather radar data processing
  • Link budget creation and analysis
  • Radar system simulation and analysis
  • Development of System Requirements and Subsystem Requirements Flowdown (Hardware, Firmware, Software)
  • Compliance Matrix
  • Verification Plans for System and Subsystems
  • Verification Testing
  • Schedule development and maintenance, create work arounds to keep programs on schedule
  • Software/Firmware System Architecture, Block Diagrams, Flow Charts and Verification
  • Stay abreast of new technology publications, competitor products and originate articles promoting the company and professional capabilities
  • Seek out and submit proposals for new business to grow the R D base
  • Grow team through new hires, as sales permit, and proactive mentoring and training
Requirements:
Engineering Master's degree with emphasis in remote sensing and 10 years of relevant experience Because of our company size and limited experience, this position must work in the office a minimum of 40 hours/5 days per week. US citizen
