Job Description

In this integral role, the individual will bring expertise in atmospheric radar technology and data processing to optimize system efficiencies. Key responsibilities include crafting and analyzing link budgets, simulating radar systems, and defining comprehensive system and subsystem requirements spanning hardware, firmware, and software. The position involves constructing compliance matrices and devising verification strategies, ensuring thorough testing and validation. This role also requires adeptness in project scheduling, maintaining timelines, and creating contingency plans. The applicant will design software and firmware architectures using various diagram tools. Keeping current with industry trends and competitor advancements, the specialist will also have opportunities to promote company capabilities through written content and develop proposals to expand R&D initiatives. As the team grows, this role will include mentoring new hires and providing ongoing training. Qualifications include a Master's degree focused on remote sensing, a decade of relevant industry experience, and US citizenship. Given the company's collaborative environment, on-site participation for a minimum of 40 hours weekly is necessary.
