•Responsibilities Support Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Ship Control Systems (SCS) for U.S. Navy submarines. Review engineering specifications, documents, drawings, and plans, Review system, software, and hardware test procedures. Witness Formal Qualification and System Acceptance Testing at land-based test facilities. Validate requirements. Perform Audits of computer software units. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or Computer Science field. Have an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance Proven experience working with US Navy submarine.
