$50-$60/hr Position Overview We are seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), automation systems, and production applications within a regulated manufacturing environment. This position will partner with operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, and IT teams to ensure critical production systems remain reliable, compliant, and optimized for manufacturing performance. Responsibilities Provide technical support for MES, manufacturing automation, and production information systems. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing system issues to support uninterrupted production. Support MES functionality including workflows, data collection, equipment integration, and production records. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and OEE. Assist with equipment commissioning, startup activities, and system upgrades. Support integration between

MES, ERP

systems, and shop floor equipment. Develop and maintain production dashboards, reports, and manufacturing metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and operational challenges. Support electronic batch records (EBR), electronic device history records (eDHR), and manufacturing documentation systems. Provide training and technical guidance to manufacturing personnel. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years supporting MES or manufacturing systems in a production environment. Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology. Experience with industrial automation and manufacturing control systems. Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills. Preferred Qualifications Ignition Platform Wonderware / AVEVA Historian SQL Server, SSRS, Stored Procedures, and SQL Queries PLC/HMI interfaces Manufacturing reporting and analytics ERP integration experience OPC-UA and Ethernet/IP communications VB.NET or VB6 experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Meriden, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
