Washington, DC (onsite 4 days per week for first 2 months then 3 days per week after)
Clearance Required:
Able to obtain Public Trust Contract to Hire Top 3 skills: Power Platform Databricks Building CI/CD pipelines in AWS Able to work 4 days/week on-site for the first 2 months and then 3 days/week on-site each month
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Systems Engineer with Microsoft Power Platform Developer with experience integrating enterprise solutions across AWS utilizing Databricks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting business applications, workflow automation, and data-driven solutions leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role requires expertise in cloud technologies, data integration, analytics platforms, and low-code development to support mission-critical business operations and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Pages, and Dataverse. Develop and support automated business processes and workflows using Power Automate. Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports utilizing enterprise data sources. Integrate Power Platform solutions with AWS services including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, and other cloud-native services. Develop and maintain integrations between Power Platform, Databricks, and enterprise applications through APIs, connectors, and middleware, where applicable. Collaborate with data engineers and analytics teams to consume and expose Databricks data products for operational and reporting use cases. Design and implement secure data access models, role-based permissions, and governance controls within Power Platform environments. Support data migration, data transformation, and modernization initiatives across cloud and on-premises systems. Develop reusable components, custom connectors, and Power Fx solutions to improve development efficiency. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Implement DevSecOps and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Power Platform Build Tools. Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues across Power Platform, AWS, and Databricks environments. Maintain solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures. Stay current with emerging Microsoft, AWS, AI, and data platform technologies and best practices.
What You Will Need:
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOJ Public Trust. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 6+ years of experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform. Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and Power Pages. Experience integrating cloud and enterprise systems using REST APIs, JSON, and custom connectors. Experience working with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, and IAM. Experience working with Databricks, Delta Lake, SQL, and large-scale data environments. Proficiency with SQL, Power Fx, and at least one scripting language such as Python or PowerShell. Understanding data modeling, API development, and enterprise application integration patterns. Experience with source control and CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps or GitHub. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. What Is Nice to

Microsoft Certified:
Power Platform Developer Associate.
Microsoft Certified:
Power Platform Solution Architect Expert. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate. Databricks Data Engineer Associate or related Databricks certification. Experience supporting federal agencies such as DOJ, DHS, CBP, or other government customers. Experience with AI Builder, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Generative AI solutions. Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams integration, and Microsoft 365 services. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Scrum practices. Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, and government security compliance requirements.
