The selected candidate will work with cross-functional engineering teams to design, integrate, test, and sustain complex mission systems within a highly secure environment. This role requires strong systems engineering experience across the full system lifecycle, from requirements development and architecture through integration, testing, deployment, and operational support. Responsibilities Analyze customer and mission requirements and translate them into system-level specifications. Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation, including requirements, interface control documents (ICDs), CONOPS, and design artifacts. Support system architecture, integration, verification, validation, and operational readiness activities. Participate in technical reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and system acceptance events. Coordinate with software, hardware, cyber, and network engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Support risk management, change management, and configuration management processes. Assist with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system performance optimization. Support testing activities and ensure requirements traceability throughout the development lifecycle. Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with current CI Polygraph. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience supporting complex technical programs. Experience with requirements management and systems documentation. Familiarity with systems integration, testing, and operational support activities. Experience working within DoD, Intelligence Community, or other classified environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting defense, aerospace, ISR, communications, or mission systems programs. Familiarity with MBSE tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, or Sparx EA. Experience with DOORS, Jira, Confluence, or other engineering lifecycle tools. Knowledge of networking, virtualization, Linux, cloud technologies, or cybersecurity principles. INCOSE Systems Engineering certification preferred.
