Jr. Client/Systems Engineer (C2 Mission Systems)

Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions for the Specialized Automated Mission Suite Family of Systems (SAMS-FoS) as it relates to AFSOC systems and platforms.Job Requirements:
- Support operational development and testing to include, but not limited to, systems integration, engineering hardware and software solutions, analyzing systems/requirements, and ensuring seamless integration and interoperability of mission systems with relevant AFSOC networks (ex. tactical datalink networks and SOF Information Environment) and platforms (e.g. MC-130J, CV-22, and C-146A).
- Develop and maintain configurations of SAMS-FoS.
- Ensure cybersecurity compliance by performing regular patching and STIG implementation.
- Maintain SOACS System Integration Lab test assets, software, and compute devices.
- Provide Air Combat Command (ACC) Tier 3 and lab equipment support for the Client as required.
- Ability to perform immediate administrator support tasks to expedite reach-back support (resetting passwords, establishing accounts, checking systems status, checking firewalls, processing and coordinating host network requests, resetting components, and other similar tasks).
- Personnel with privileged access must obtain appropriate Computing Environment (CE) certifications for the operating system(s) and/or security related tools/devices they support.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform scripting to support automation, configuration, and system integration tasks.
- Integrate software onto newly designed system images.
- Build new system images, ensuring proper STIG implementation.
- Conduct testing, implementation, and integration of software, systems, and mission requirements to ensure images can support mission needs.
