Description:
You will be the Systems and Software Quality Engineer for the Systems and Software Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining quality processes that align with AS9100, program, and customer requirements. What You Will Be Doing Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems and Software Quality Engineer to develop and maintain common processes that support high‑quality software and software‑based systems. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop, modify, and apply quality principles to the development and use of software and software‑based systems for make‑and‑buy products. Define operating criteria and audit strategies to ensure compliance with project, process, and contract requirements. Design and implement software development and maintenance processes, including test methods for inspection, verification, and validation. Evaluate and analyze software quality systems for deficiencies, ensuring measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Perform software product reviews, traceability verification, and support travel to program sites as needed. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from in a related discipline with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent combined education/experience Experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies Experience supporting System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps) as an active team member/participant Experienced in Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plans and facilitating RCCA events Ability to conduct and document process audits and evaluations.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles Knowledge of with
AS9100, ISO 9001

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
