Endpoint Systems Engineer

Description We are looking for an Endpoint Systems Engineer to play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting endpoint systems across the organization. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. This is a long-term contract position based in Ankeny, Iowa.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test automation processes for endpoint systems to ensure scalability and adaptability to organizational growth.
• Create, test, and deploy Microsoft PowerShell and batch scripts to install and update proprietary and third-party software.
• Implement and maintain processes to ensure software and settings are applied during endpoint replacements or initial installations.
• Develop redundancy strategies to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate in the design and implementation of operational and information support systems.
• Evaluate and qualify software used at store locations, including modifications to third-party vendor applications.
• Create scripts, programs, and tools to optimize system efficiency and automate repetitive tasks.
• Monitor and analyze endpoint system performance to identify and address issues proactively. Requirements
• Proficient in scripting languages, including PowerShell and batch scripting, with demonstrated experience in automation.
• Strong analytical skills to assess systems and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and efficient interaction across teams.
• Proven ability to build relationships based on trust and transparency.
• Experience with system administration and analysis in complex environments.
• Familiarity with software deployment tools such as Intune.
• Knowledge of system efficiency strategies and redundancy planning.
