Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Siebel Administrator with strong expertise in Siebel Architecture, Administration, Monitoring, Automation, and Troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across Siebel versions IP16 through IP24 on Windows OS, along with proven experience in managing complex support environments, leading operational activities, and supporting upgrade initiatives. Experience with Siebel data quality tools and system integrations is required. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and administer Siebel environments across multiple versions, including the latest releases. Manage end-to-end Siebel environments, including SRF deployment, repository migration, non-replication deployments, and log management. Maintain strong understanding of Siebel architecture across pre-IP17 and post-IP17 versions. Perform performance tuning, optimization, and system diagnostics to ensure optimal application performance. Conduct SARM analysis, FDR reviews, and crash diagnostics to identify and resolve issues. Monitor Siebel environments proactively and implement corrective and preventive measures. Lead and execute Siebel upgrade projects, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal downtime. Manage release deployments across multiple environments effectively. Install, configure, and administer data quality tools such as Informatica Identity Resolution (IIR) and Oracle EDQ. Integrate data quality tools with Siebel workflows and business processes. Lead support operations, including incident and problem management activities. Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and training to team members. Establish best practices, automation strategies, and process improvements. Work with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, ELK, and Git for deployment and monitoring activities. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements for Siebel deployments. Support infrastructure setup across Windows and Linux environments. Assist in cloud migration initiatives, including lift-and-shift strategies. Perform database-related activities supporting Siebel environments. Required Qualifications Strong experience in Siebel Administration and Architecture across multiple versions (IP16 to IP24). Hands-on experience with Siebel installation, configuration, deployment, and environment management. Expertise in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Siebel applications. Experience with Siebel upgrade and release management processes. Knowledge of data quality tools such as Informatica Identity Resolution (IIR) and Oracle EDQ. Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, ELK, and Git. Strong understanding of Windows and Linux server administration. Experience supporting database activities in Siebel environments. Ability to lead support teams and manage incident/problem resolution. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in cloud environments and migration projects (AWS, Azure, or OCI). Exposure to CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation. Experience working in large-scale enterprise support environments. Certifications Siebel certifications Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or OCI) DevOps certifications
