at Giesecke+Devrient in Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States Job Description Responsible for designing, developing, configuring, deploying, and supporting integrated card issuance systems for financial, government, and transit clients. The position requires advanced expertise in data processing, systems engineering, and secure technologies, including integrated circuit (I/C) chips and cryptographic methods.
Specific duties include:
Designing and implementing custom configurations for proprietary card issuance systems; Performing data analysis, ETL transformations, and complex SQL programming to support secure data translation; Managing end-to-end project development from requirement gathering to production deployment and testing; Creating, testing, and supporting integrated solutions involving databases, card personalization processes, and system interfaces; Implementing and maintaining application-level security using authentication and encryption protocols; Acting as a technical SME to support integration with external systems including ERP, MRP, and production logistics; Preparing technical documentation, participating in code reviews, and maintaining consistency across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments; Providing ongoing support for incident resolution and system enhancements, including lifecycle maintenance and controlled migration of production changes; and Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align project goals, communicate technical solutions, and ensure on-time delivery.
