Job Description

$63 - $73 Join a technology-driven SaaS organization modernizing mission-critical infrastructure while solving complex data, security, privacy, and reliability challenges at scale. As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you'll take substantial hands-on ownership of AWS cloud architecture, Kubernetes platforms, infrastructure automation, and the migration of critical applications and data from legacy on-premises environments to cloud-native services. You'll design secure, resilient, and cost-conscious infrastructure supporting high-throughput transactional and event-driven workloads, with a strong focus on EKS, Terraform, observability, CI/CD, and operational resilience. This is a hybrid onsite contractor position, requiring regular in-person collaboration alongside remote engineering work.

•Required Skills & Experience

•+ 7-8+ years of Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, or DevOps experience, + experience designing resilient AWS environments should include multi-region architecture, failover, disaster recovery, and infrastructure cost optimization. + Proven experience engineering large-scale distributed, transactional, or event-driven systems, including operational understanding of scalability, idempotency, replay strategies, backpressure, and failure recovery, with experience implementing security and compliance controls aligned to frameworks such as

PCI-DSS, SOC

2, or FFIEC.

•Desired Skills & Experience

•+ Experience designing, migrating, or operating modern data platforms and lakehouse architectures, including open table formats and the movement of mission-critical applications and data from on-premises infrastructure into AWS. + Advanced observability and production-readiness experience for complex transactional platforms, including scalable monitoring, telemetry, alerting, incident response, reliability engineering, capacity planning, and operational documentation.
