Job Description

We are looking for a Systems Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management to support secure access operations within a Financial Services environment in Moline, Illinois. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who combines strong IAM knowledge with precise documentation habits and advanced Excel capabilities to manage tracking, validation, and audit-related activities. The role focuses on access governance, user lifecycle administration, and authentication frameworks that help maintain compliant and efficient access controls across enterprise systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer identity and access processes by handling onboarding, role changes, and offboarding activities in alignment with established governance standards.
  • Maintain and update access assignments across enterprise platforms, ensuring permissions reflect role-based and attribute-driven access models.
  • Support the enforcement of least-privilege principles and separation-of-duties controls to reduce access risk and strengthen compliance.
  • Monitor and document user provisioning activities, keeping detailed records that support internal reviews and audit readiness.
  • Use advanced Excel functions to track access requests, validate entitlement data, and produce reporting for control oversight.
  • Contribute to authentication and authorization initiatives, including support for single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and federated identity capabilities.
  • Work with directory and messaging environments such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange to manage identity-related configurations.
  • Assist with IAM-related operational changes or platform updates as needed, ensuring access impacts are documented and addressed appropriately.
