V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Servicenow Platform Manager for our premier client in Naperville, Illinois.
Education and Experience »
Experience with the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
Experience managing ServiceNow licensing and vendor/partner relationships.
Experience in a regulated or enterprise environment with formal change and audit controls.
Knowledge and Skills:
Evaluate new ServiceNow products, modules, and capabilities (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM,
HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, App Engine, AI) and make/build/buy/defer recommendations.
Define and enforce platform principles: configure over customize, out-of-the-box first, and reuse before rebuild.
Ensure process, data, and architecture readiness for AI (Now Assist) to enable an agentic, future-state operating model.
Establish and chair the platform governance board (or technical governance board), setting the policies that control what is built and by whom.
Define and enforce development, naming, scoping, and architecture standards across all instances that maximize use of out-of-box capability, minimize custom code and ensure minimal effort for upgrades.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Job Responsibilities:
Working with the Product Manager and Product Owners, own and maintain the multi-year
ServiceNow platform strategy and roadmap, aligned to business priorities and ServiceNow's
release cadence.
Evaluate new ServiceNow products, modules, and capabilities (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM,
HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, App Engine, AI) and make/build/buy/defer recommendations.
Define and enforce platform principles: configure over customize, out-of-the-box first, and
reuse before rebuild.
