Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect with 15+ years of experience and mandatory Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain expertise to lead architecture and design initiatives for a strategic P&C insurance client engagement. The role will drive end-to-end solution architecture across modernization programs involving Forms, Data, and AI, while defining scalable cloud-native, microservices, modernization, and integration architectures. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on architect with strong leadership presence, capable of influencing executive-level stakeholders and guiding distributed onshore and offshore teams toward scalable, future-ready solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture across multiple programs, including Forms Modernization, Data Platforms, and AI initiatives.
- Define target-state architecture, integration patterns, system interactions, and scalable solution designs.
- Lead architecture reviews and design governance while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
- Drive modernization initiatives involving document generation platforms such as GhostDraft or similar CCM tools, rules engines such as Coherent or equivalent, and legacy AS400/VB-based systems.
- Define scalable patterns for API-led and event-driven architectures.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, including Directors, AVPs, and CIO-level stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions, architecture roadmaps, and delivery outcomes.
- Participate in steering discussions, architecture walkthroughs, and executive presentations.
- Provide hands-on architectural guidance across .NET, microservices, Azure, REST APIs, messaging, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Mentor engineering teams and ensure adherence to architecture and engineering best practices.
- Support architecture for data platforms, including Snowflake and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Support AI/ML solution architecture involving RAG, document intelligence, and automation.
- Collaborate with AI teams to ensure scalable and secure AI implementations.
- Work closely with Delivery Managers to ensure architecture is feasible, scalable, and aligned with timelines and budgets.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies early in the delivery lifecycle. Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.
- Mandatory experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, including Policy, Billing, and Claims.
- Proven expertise in enterprise architecture and distributed systems.
- Strong experience with .NET and cloud-native architectures, with Azure preferred.
- Strong experience with API design and enterprise integration frameworks.
- Experience designing modernization solutions for legacy systems.
- Strong understanding of modernization and integration architecture.
- Strong understanding of data platforms and AI-driven solutions.
- Experience with REST APIs, messaging, API-led architectures, and event-driven architectures.
- Excellent executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills.
- Ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders and guide distributed engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GhostDraft, Coherent, or similar document generation and rules-engine platforms.
- Exposure to Duck Creek or other Policy Administration Systems (PAS).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience working in onshore-offshore delivery models.
- Prior experience in client-facing architect roles within consulting or services organizations.
