Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in ServiceNow, hands-on & prior experience implementing ServiceNow modules like
ITSM, CSM, ITOM
along with strong ServiceNow technical platform foundation skills. The candidate should bring solid technical depth in ServiceNow development and integrations along with strong functional knowledge of areas like Customer Service, Asset Management and Service Management. Candidate will be responsible for the overall architecture, design and implement major solutions in ServiceNow at Equinix ResponsibilitiesEngages in scrum meetings and activitiesParticipates and leads architectural reviews and end-to-end processUnderstand business requirements and proposes ServiceNow solutionsOwns development and delivery of the ServiceNow solutionsOwns Design and build of integrations with ServiceNowConducts design reviews and provides technical leadershipWorks with stakeholder for architectural decisions and solutionsEnsure adherence to code quality, unit testing, and security standardsMaintain architectural standard, process, and documentationQualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in computer science or technology or equivalent field8+ years of industry-proven overall technology experience, with minimum of 5+ years with ServiceNow development experienceProven / Hands-on experience in delivering ServiceNow solutionsSkillsAdvanced level of experience and knowledge with ServiceNow PlatformStrong hands-on experience in ServiceNow developmentStrong technical knowledge (UI Actions, Imports, transforms, menus, workflows, catalogue requests, etc.)Strong technical knowledge (Scripting, Business Rules, jobs, etc.)Experience with Web services, Integration protocols, integration hub/spokes, SOAP/REST-based APIsWell versed with ITSM concepts (change, problem, incidents)Understanding of CSM (Customer Service Management) in ServiceNowStrong knowledge of AngularJS, JavaScript, client-server scripting in ServiceNowKnowledge or experience with mid-server, CMDB, discovery will be an advantageKnowledge or experience with event management will be an advantageKnowledge or experience in Service Portal development will be an advantageDifferentiator skillsServiceNow Certified professionalVery strong integration skills with ServiceNowAnalytical data skills.
