The Sr Engineer, Systems Architecture develops and evolves enterprise virtualization and platform architectures to support the organization's technology portfolio. It involves creating, adapting, and revising detailed schematics, platform designs, and implementation processes across OpenShift Virtualization (OCP Virt), Kubernetes, and VMware environments. The role requires interpreting platform performance data, test results, and technology studies to inform design decisions. Lead the design and delivery of complex virtualization and platform architecture strategies to enhance technology infrastructure Develop and maintain technical documentation to clearly communicate platform designs, Kubernetes-based virtualization concepts, and operational standards Evaluate and interpret platform metrics, testing outcomes, and workload performance to inform architecture improvements and technology adoption Collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement engineering solutions across OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VMware platforms that meet business requirements Contribute to the design and operationalization of OpenShift Virtualization, including VM lifecycle management and platform integration (compute, storage, networking) Mentor and support the development of associate engineers through knowledge sharing and technical guidance Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as neededEducation and Work Experience :
Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required) Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering or related field (Required) 5+ Years Technical engineering experience (Required)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Corporate Bonus Target:
15% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
