We are currently seeking a Lead Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to provide exceptional client service and satisfaction in all aspects of our day-to-day business. The ideal candidate must have the skills and knowledge to build computer networks from soup-to-nuts; including but not limited to collaboration, design, preparation, planning and deployment, while also adhering to our company's signature network design, products, and security policies. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation. This position requires an after-hours on-call rotation approximately one week every six to seven weeks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Client Support & Technical Services Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, infrastructure, and cloud-related issues. Analyze technical problems, identify appropriate solutions, and implement corrective actions efficiently. Maintain a professional and client-focused approach while managing support requests and complex technical issues. Establish and manage client expectations throughout the service lifecycle. Provide timely verbal and written communication regarding project status, support requests, and resolutions. Document all technical activities, support interactions, and system configurations accurately. Network Infrastructure Engineering Design, deploy, configure, support, and troubleshoot business network environments. Build and maintain secure network infrastructures following company standards and security best practices.
Layer 2 & 3, VLANs, Subnets), Wireless and networking solutions, DHCP and DNS services, VPN technologies, and UPS systems and Network Management Cards (NMCs). Implement and maintain network security controls to protect client environments. Server & Virtualization Administration Install, configure, administer, and support Windows Server environments. Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Group Policy infrastructure. Deploy and support VMware virtualization platforms. Perform server upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and performance optimization. Monitor and maintain server health, availability, and security. Cloud Engineering & Security Deploy and support Microsoft Azure environments, including virtual networking and cloud-hosted workloads. Support Microsoft 365 applications and services. Configure and maintain Conditional Access Policies and cloud security controls. Assist clients with cloud migrations, optimization initiatives, and security enhancements. Support additional cloud technologies including AWS and related platforms. End User & Application Support Support Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices. Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Office applications, Adobe products, and line-of-business applications. Support applications such as Sage, QuickBooks, SQL-based systems, JobBoss, CCH, Adept, ShareSync, ShareFile, and related business solutions. Perform system updates, maintenance, and software deployments. Team Collaboration & Leadership Provide mentoring, guidance, and technical support to IT Technicians and junior team members. Assist with project planning, implementation, and deployment activities. Collaborate effectively with internal staff, management, vendors, and client stakeholders. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities. Support special projects and assignments as requested. Required Qualifications Education / Certifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Microsoft Certification(s) and CompTIA required additional certifications a plus. Experience Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, systems administration, or related IT infrastructure roles. Experience working with complex networking, cloud, and security environments. Proven success supporting multiple clients and technologies in a fast-paced environment. Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience preferred.
