W2 Contract only Job description: We are looking for a highly experienced Pod Lead to provide technical leadership for migrating enterprise applications from on-premises environments to AWS Outposts. The role is responsible for defining migration strategies, designing target architectures, leading infrastructure and application modernization efforts, and driving end-to-end technical execution for migration pods. The candidate should have strong expertise in AWS, hybrid cloud architecture, infrastructure modernization, networking, automation, and enterprise migration programs, along with hands-on experience in application and code modernization including Java 8 to Java 17/21 upgrades, Spring Boot modernization, dependency remediation, CI/CD integration, and cloud readiness improvements. The role requires close collaboration with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and low-risk migrations while maintaining architecture and operational standards.
