We are seeking a Senior MBSE Systems Engineer to support the design, implementation, and deployment of next-generation strategic defense systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering methodologies. What You'll Do:
Develop, maintain, and manage Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models for complex system architectures. Create SysML models including behavioral, structural, interface, and requirements diagrams. Support system architecture development, functional decomposition, interface management, and trade studies. Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, integration, and test teams throughout the product lifecycle. Manage system requirements and ensure traceability between requirements, architecture, design, and verification activities. Support digital engineering initiatives using MBSE methodologies and architecture frameworks. Contribute to Agile development efforts and systems engineering best practices. Help drive adoption of MBSE tools, processes, and digital engineering capabilities across program teams.What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 6+ months of relevant experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). 2+ years of experience using MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or similar modeling platforms. 2+ years of experience developing SysML models including behavioral, structural, and requirements diagrams. 2+ years of experience supporting requirements management, systems engineering, integration, or test engineering activities. 1+ year of experience using requirements management tools such as DOORS or DOORS Next Generation. 1+ year of experience supporting Agile development environments.What Sets You Apart:
Experience architecting complex systems using MBSE methodologies. Experience performing functional decomposition, interface definition, and trade study analysis. Knowledge of DoDAF or comparable architecture frameworks. Experience integrating requirements management tools with MBSE models. Passion for digital engineering transformation and technology innovation. Strong technical communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate complex architectures through clear and effective system models. Experience applying AI-enabled approaches to systems engineering and process improvement. Commitment to mentoring others and advancing MBSE best practices across engineering organizations. Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, lifecycle processes, and technical standards.Additional Information:
