Job Description:

We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who thrives in a modern Microsoft environment and enjoys building, optimizing, and securing infrastructure across both on-prem and cloud. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to shape a hybrid infrastructure, work with the latest Microsoft technologies, and play a key role in driving performance, scalability, and security across the organization. What You'll Be Doing Design and manage identity & access across Active Directory and Azure AD Build and optimize Azure environments with a focus on performance and security Architect and support hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud) Own and enhance virtualization environments (Hyper-V clusters) Monitor and improve system performance, capacity, and reliability Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts Develop and maintain disaster recovery and failover strategies Implement and strengthen security controls across all environments Partner with teams across the business to deliver scalable solutions Act as a technical leader and escalation point, mentoring others on the team Tech Environment You'll be working across a well-established and evolving Microsoft stack, including: Azure | M365 | Intune | MFA | System Center | Hyper-V | Exchange (Online & On-Prem) | Citrix | Microsoft Defender | Nimble & Pure Storage | HP ProLiant | Rubrik / Exagrid / Symantec What We're Looking For 10+ years of experience in a Microsoft-focused infrastructure environment Strong expertise in Azure, Windows Server, and hybrid environments Experience with PowerShell or automation/scripting tools Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally If you're someone who enjoys building, improving, and owning infrastructure in a Microsoft ecosystem, this is a great opportunity to step into a role where you can make a real impact.
