Job Requirements Hanscom AFB, MA Top Secret/SCI Polygraph Unspecified Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience) $120,000 - $130,000 Job Description Job Description Quantech has an immediate opening for a System Engineer supporting the C3I&N Directorate located at Hanscom AFB, MA. Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
Provides engineering expertise on supported systems engineering policies and processes. Apply engineering expertise to systems and subsystems including configuration management, data management, security and other technical integration functions. Manage complex system interfaces, identify and document interfaces, and assure the effective integration of multiple subsystems. Ensure system requirements meet user requirements; utilize user requirements to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate system concepts, perform assessments, and review the system design. Perform and/or support capability analyses and
COTS/GOTS
evaluation, select components, and develop system interfaces to ensure compliance with DoD and commercially accepted standards and requirements. Construct models and simulations of systems to demonstrate the ability to meet user requirements. Conduct engineering performance, cost-effectiveness, reliability, technical and schedule risk assessment, and scheduling trade-off studies and document this information in a technical report as directed by the task order.
Capable of performing:
problem/gap definition, trade space analysis, science and technology roadmap analysis, "Set based design" for concept development, Multi-Objective Decision Analysis (MODA) and cost versus capability trade off analysis. Perform program reviews to evaluate alternative proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design, and test results to assure that subsystem and system performance is achieved in accordance with program specifications. Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Active TSSCI Clearance required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related engineering field, or equivalent experience MA/MS and 12 Years' experience w 5 in DoD or BA/BS and 15 Yrs exp w 5 in DoD Ability to capture and synergize different pieces of software/hardware components; optimize solutions methods to improve current and future projects Ability to develop a highly productive working relationship with customers and teams across multiple programs Excellent communications skills; verbal and written EO/IR experience as a must
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, System Engineering or related engineering field, or equivalent experience 10+ years of interdisciplinary engineering experience Salary information below is a general guide only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as business and market considerations.
