Job Description

Role:
Systems Engineer Client:
Defense-Aerospace Hourly Rate:
$70/hr W2, non-benefited
Length:
Long-Term Location:
Taunton, MA Clearance:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
Description:
Integrate advanced hardware components — including Single Board Computers (SBCs), FPGAs, and GPUs — into system chassis in accordance with design documentation Work alongside engineers across disciplines to support full lifecycle system integration efforts We welcome candidates with any combination of the following skills and experiences:
Problem Solving:
Ability to independently isolate, diagnose, and resolve complex hardware, software, or firmware issues
Test Development:
Experience writing and executing detailed test procedures to validate system hardware and software against functional and performance requirements
Test Automation:
Familiarity with automated test scripting
OpenVPX:
Hands-on experience configuring OpenVPX chassis and cards
Network Analysis:
Proficiency with network troubleshooting tools such as
Wireshark Virtualization:
Experience with virtual environments including VMware and Linux-based virtual devices
CMOSS/SOSA

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
