Cloud Software Engineer

Summary CTC Group is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support cloud-based SIGINT and cyber solutions at Fort Meade. This role is ideal for a motivated developer who is comfortable working across front-end, back-end, and containerized environments.

Annapolis Junction / Ft. Meade Responsibilities Provide software engineering, customer support, and infrastructure services in support of SIGINT and cyber mission needs. Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based software applications and services. Build and support conventional REST services. Develop and maintain software using Python, FastAPI, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, and related technologies. Query, maintain, and troubleshoot MongoDB and Elasticsearch environments. Work within Docker and Docker Compose enabled development and deployment environments. Move effectively between front-end and back-end development tasks. Use GitLab and Jira to support source control, issue tracking, collaboration, and development workflows. Apply AI-assisted development tools and techniques to improve productivity and software delivery. Requirements Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Experience with Python, FastAPI, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, REST services, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Docker, and Docker Compose. Comfortable using GitLab, Jira, and AI-assisted development tools. Able to move between front-end and back-end development. Desired experience includes Golang, Protobuf, React, SASS/LESS, Leaflet, Elasticsearch index management, and Kubernetes. Level 1 Qualifications Seven (7) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Level 2 Qualifications Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Pay Information The final salary may be influenced by various factors, such as location, labor categories, experience, education, and/or certifications.
