As the Intermediate Systems Engineer you will work with a team of technical experts running an enterprise DevSecOps Platform-as-a-Service in the Department of Defense. If you have 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, a strong understanding of industry-standard technologies, and a passion for staying current with emerging trends, apply now!
Qualifications:
US citizenship required. Bachelor's Degree in a related IT or Engineering field. At least 3 years of experience implementing software modernization within in large IT Platform projects. High familiarity with DevSecOps COTS and Open-Source software solutions. Specific experience operationalizing DevSecOps and Commercial Cloud tech services in complex organizations. Familiarity with security scans and CVE databases a plus. Relevant certifications and experience with cloud platforms. Secret clearance required
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day tasks related to running an enterprise DevSecOps Platform-as-a-Service in the Department of Defense. Work with customer development teams to assist in their onboarding, deployment and execution of tenant CI/CD pipelines running inside the Platform. Support taskings via key personnel from the Government and Contract staff. Act as an administrator for commercial off the shelf software (ex: JIRA) used by customers in their Agile planning, configuration, testing, deployment and execution of DevSecOps pipelines within the platform. Additional tasks include evaluation of candidate software releases from security, functional capability vantage points and update scan artifacts accordingly.
